As numerous research projects in the field of personal and property security have demonstrated, a wide use of technical means allows to exclude or minimize the negative influence of the most unreliable link in security systems — a person, who is prone to fatigue, carelessness, negligence etc.

Access management and control system of the National Library of Belarus
Access management and control system of the National Library of Belarus designed for the new building of the National library of Belarus is a powerful firmware complex which prevents unauthorized access on the territory of the National Library, controls objects in real time mode, records events on the territory under inspection, registers the time spent by the employees and readers in the National Library.
The new building of the National Library is a unique construction which is called to satisfy the users information needs.
Access management and control system cooperates with the other automated systems in the library, including automated library information system, targeted fire alarm system, automated library activity managements system.
The system provides control of access to physical objects according to the right of access range. Door controllers operate executive devices (locks, turnstiles). Up to 2 card readers and an access control executive mechanism (an electronic latch or a turnstile) are connected to each door controller.
The system provides:
  • authorized access to information and program applications;
  • configuring system for flexible adjustment to quantity and types of controllers;
  • access system control and operative management;
  • job account log for registering events in the system;
  • visual monitoring of objects under control;
  • electronic cards system registration;
  • allocation of the rights of access according to patterns;
  • allowing 150000 readers and employees to enter the premise according to the rights of access with contactless and other cards;

  • viewing and printing information on access to objects of the control;
  • determination of fire evacuation zones in accordance with automated fire alarm system, signal reception from automated fire alarm system, automatic operation of doors for evacuating people, displaying evacuation zones on a PC according to the signals received from automated fire alarm system;
  • accounts on the working hours of employees and time spent by readers in the library.
